Easter fun

Easter sure came fast this year. On Saturday we had an Easter egg hunt at the Wagstaff's house. They live up in the hills and have beautiful property with hills and trees and rocks. All the things that make for a great egg hunt. Kids actually have to hunt for them instead of 600 eggs being laid flat out on the grass. It was fun and the view was amazing!

We actually colored Easter eggs this year. Everyone is in their pajamas, but at
least we got it done.

The Easter Bunny came and left Easter baskets for the kids...

Funny thing happened on Easter morning...The Easter bunny brought the kids an Easter basket with a HUGE can of pringles,(this is not the regular size but a much, much bigger can) a chocolate bunny, another big box of candy, etc. Well, Tyler had eaten his ENTIRE can of Pringles and his whole chocolate bunny before Todd and I were even out of bed! The pig! Well, I always take a picture of the kids and then one of our family right before we leave for Church....

Notice that Tyler and Todd are missing from the picture. Why, do you ask? Tyler was soooo sick from eating all those Pringles & candy(and he had oatmeal for breakfast) that he was crying in the bathroom, thinking he was going to throw up. And after our Christmas program barfing by Brandon (yes right during Sacrament meeting), we didn't want a repeat for the Easter program. So they stayed home and the rest of us went to church. Tyler was perfectly fine by the time I got home, and ready to eat again. Boys...

I may not be able to dress my kids in cute little pink dresses with bows and flowers in their hair, but it just doesn't get much cuter than this...

Happy Easter!

(Nathan was very concerned about the Easter bunny coming to visit. He does NOT like Santa or the bunny. He definately did NOT want him to leave the basket anywhere near his room. So, the Easter bunny left the baskets on the stairs this year.)

What handsome boys and I agree that the Wagstaff's yard is the perfect place for a hunt. I was bummed we missed it this year. If you happen to talk to the easter bunny, could you ask him/her where he/she got that Mickey Mouse puzzle? So cute!

I bought the easter egg dye kit but never got around to dying eggs.

does that count for anything?

Maybe next year it will get used.

Cute boys and adorable mom! Love your wrap dress.

At least I'm not the only mom who gets paranoid by coloring eggs. I make Aidan color eggs wearing only some old shorts.

Poor Brandon - but we were sitting behind him in December when it happened the first time, so at least your were taking the precautions.

Who needs bows and flowers when you have four of the most handsome boys ever!

As for the pringles, don't tell Matthew, he'll be asking why the Easter Bunny doesn't deliver STAX.

Amelia still hasn't worn her Easter dress since we were both sick over Easter and then we went to California, and of course today is General Conference - I've had her dress for weeks and am hoping that next week she'll finally get to wear it - good job I bought it in a bigger size!

Happy Easter, we love you!

You know, there's always the cute bunny pajamas for your little guy (ya know the Christmas story, right?)I'm sure he'd love that...cute family!

Ya, we should've taken pics eating ice cream in Cougar country. Nothing beats Cougar Gold cheese, does it? The more I eat it the more I like it, the more I like it the more I want it...ahhhh!

I love how annoyed you look in your "family " picture. I looked just as annoyed in mine.

I get the cutesy dresses and bows in the hair and the emotional melt downs that go along with it. I wouldn't trade it for one second...but if I had a boy I would have dressed him exactly like Nathan.

BTW Did you ever figure out picasa?

Hey! I am totally going to take it as a compliment that you think I look like drew barrymore (even if it wasn't a compliment) Do you live by Jess? (either one) I am thinking about having a blogger party... are you close by??
